Aikido Martial Art at St. Andrews- Nihon Goshin Aikido is unique relative to many other martial arts in that it does not answer an attack with more violence. In fact, it might be said that there are no offensive attacks in Nihon Goshin Aikido- only defenses. Techniques do not require strength for them to be successful. Memory-In-Training:  This course is designed to provide mature adults the skills needed to strengthen their memory.  Participants will learn facts about their brain as well as foods that promote brain and heart health.  This course is ideal for adults experiencing issues with misplacing items, recognizing a face by not remembering the name, walking into a room and not remembering why, and forgetting to do things in the future. Participation is required as this is an interactive course.  Each week will build upon the previous week and a new memory skill added.  This course is not for people with a diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease or dementia.  Our goal at Memory Fit is to help our older adults live their best life possible by keeping their memory intact and remaining physically active.  Join us each week and sharpen your memory skills.Our training sessions are kept small because we want everyone to have the opportunity to participate and learn. The late charge and the weekly fee must be paid by Monday at 6:30pm or your child will not be able to attend afterschool on Tuesday.Program operational hours are 3pm-6:30pm Monday-Thursday Program will operate except in observation of Federal, State, or County holidays; which require closures of RCRC facilities.Weekly fees may increase for full days (early dismissal) and all day programs (7am-6pm). Some sites may offer special Day Camps to provide a safe fun environment for children, during extended periods of school closure.(ex. Memory-In-Training:  This course is designed to provide mature adults the skills needed to strengthen their memory.  Participants will learn facts about their brain as well as foods that promote brain and heart health.  This course is ideal for adults experiencing issues with misplacing items, recognizing a face by not remembering the name, walking into a room and not remembering why, and forgetting to do things in the future. Participation is required as this is an interactive course.  Each week will build upon the previous week and a new memory skill added.  This course is not for people with a diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease or dementia.  Our goal at Memory Fit is to help our older adults live their best life possible by keeping their memory intact and remaining physically active.  Join us each week and sharpen your memory skills.Our training sessions are kept small because we want everyone to have the opportunity to participate and learn. Cheer & Dance Startz Here (Cheer & Majorette):Cheer and Majorette class curriculum will expose each child Fundamentals of Traditional Cheerleading, incorporate art of Stomp and Shake Cheerleading for the students interested in cheer.  The Art of Majorette Dance for participants interested in expressing themselves through art of dance.Parents  no prior cheer or dance experience  required to join our program but  emphasize the importance of paying attention , no talking while coach is introducing or reviewing a skill, try your best all the time, ask questions when you are unsure, and follow directions,  and  practice, practice, practice.Students that desire to participate in Hip Hop Majorette and Stomp N Shake Cheerleading must be 10 years old and up attend completed Cheer and Majorette class for 4 weeks to learn the basics Cheer motions, jumps, level one tumbling with Satisfactory and above in skill progression.  Majorette routines are high-energy, synchronized, rhythmic dance moves include level one tumbling, cheer dance moves, jumps in their pom and dance routines.Class Dress Code:  shorts, leggings, fleece sweats, long or short sleeves tee shirt sports bras for developing young ladies.  No jeggings, Jean’s or school uniforms, cheer uniforms from other teams such as pop Warner, schools, or leagues, wear sneakers no boots, slippers or sandals, dress shoes jewelry Cheer & Dance Startz Here has new no share policy as Result of COVID-19 pan epidemic in order to minimize the risk of exposure. Memory-In-Training:  This course is designed to provide mature adults the skills needed to strengthen their memory.  Participants will learn facts about their brain as well as foods that promote brain and heart health.  This course is ideal for adults experiencing issues with misplacing items, recognizing a face by not remembering the name, walking into a room and not remembering why, and forgetting to do things in the future. Participation is required as this is an interactive course.  Each week will build upon the previous week and a new memory skill added.  This course is not for people with a diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease or dementia.  Our goal at Memory Fit is to help our older adults live their best life possible by keeping their memory intact and remaining physically active.  Join us each week and sharpen your memory skills.Our training sessions are kept small because we want everyone to have the opportunity to participate and learn. Memory-In-Training:  This course is designed to provide mature adults the skills needed to strengthen their memory.  Participants will learn facts about their brain as well as foods that promote brain and heart health.  This course is ideal for adults experiencing issues with misplacing items, recognizing a face by not remembering the name, walking into a room and not remembering why, and forgetting to do things in the future. Participation is required as this is an interactive course.  Each week will build upon the previous week and a new memory skill added.  This course is not for people with a diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease or dementia.  Our goal at Memory Fit is to help our older adults live their best life possible by keeping their memory intact and remaining physically active.  Join us each week and sharpen your memory skills.Our training sessions are kept small because we want everyone to have the opportunity to participate and learn. Let It Out Performing Arts (L.I.O.P.A.) children dance program are for children to learn dance techniques/skills and explore the beginning and creative movements through dance.  Tots Ballet & Kiddie Hip Hop (ages 2-3 years old): Toddlers are introduced to ballet by exploring and utilizing loco-motor, fine motor and gross motor skills. Blossom Ballet and Tap (ages 4-7 years old): Are for children to learn the beginning movements of Ballet and tap. Cheer & Dance Startz Here (Cheer & Majorette):Cheer and Majorette class curriculum will expose each child Fundamentals of Traditional Cheerleading, incorporate art of Stomp and Shake Cheerleading for the students interested in cheer.  The Art of Majorette Dance for participants interested in expressing themselves through art of dance.Parents  no prior cheer or dance experience  required to join our program but  emphasize the importance of paying attention , no talking while coach is introducing or reviewing a skill, try your best all the time, ask questions when you are unsure, and follow directions,  and  practice, practice, practice.Students that desire to participate in Hip Hop Majorette and Stomp N Shake Cheerleading must be 10 years old and up attend completed Cheer and Majorette class for 4 weeks to learn the basics Cheer motions, jumps, level one tumbling with Satisfactory and above in skill progression.  Majorette routines are high-energy, synchronized, rhythmic dance moves include level one tumbling, cheer dance moves, jumps in their pom and dance routines.Class Dress Code:  shorts, leggings, fleece sweats, long or short sleeves tee shirt sports bras for developing young ladies.  No jeggings, Jean’s or school uniforms, cheer uniforms from other teams such as pop Warner, schools, or leagues, wear sneakers no boots, slippers or sandals, dress shoes jewelry Cheer & Dance Startz Here has new no share policy as Result of COVID-19 pan epidemic in order to minimize the risk of exposure. Aikido Martial Art at St. Andrews- Nihon Goshin Aikido is unique relative to many other martial arts in that it does not answer an attack with more violence. In fact, it might be said that there are no offensive attacks in Nihon Goshin Aikido- only defenses. Techniques do not require strength for them to be successful. Memory-In-Training:  This course is designed to provide mature adults the skills needed to strengthen their memory.  Participants will learn facts about their brain as well as foods that promote brain and heart health.  This course is ideal for adults experiencing issues with misplacing items, recognizing a face by not remembering the name, walking into a room and not remembering why, and forgetting to do things in the future. Participation is required as this is an interactive course.  Each week will build upon the previous week and a new memory skill added.  This course is not for people with a diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease or dementia.  Our goal at Memory Fit is to help our older adults live their best life possible by keeping their memory intact and remaining physically active.  Join us each week and sharpen your memory skills.Our training sessions are kept small because we want everyone to have the opportunity to participate and learn. Cheer & Dance Startz Here (Cheer & Majorette):Cheer and Majorette class curriculum will expose each child Fundamentals of Traditional Cheerleading, incorporate art of Stomp and Shake Cheerleading for the students interested in cheer.  The Art of Majorette Dance for participants interested in expressing themselves through art of dance.Parents  no prior cheer or dance experience  required to join our program but  emphasize the importance of paying attention , no talking while coach is introducing or reviewing a skill, try your best all the time, ask questions when you are unsure, and follow directions,  and  practice, practice, practice.Students that desire to participate in Hip Hop Majorette and Stomp N Shake Cheerleading must be 10 years old and up attend completed Cheer and Majorette class for 4 weeks to learn the basics Cheer motions, jumps, level one tumbling with Satisfactory and above in skill progression.  Majorette routines are high-energy, synchronized, rhythmic dance moves include level one tumbling, cheer dance moves, jumps in their pom and dance routines.Class Dress Code:  shorts, leggings, fleece sweats, long or short sleeves tee shirt sports bras for developing young ladies.  No jeggings, Jean’s or school uniforms, cheer uniforms from other teams such as pop Warner, schools, or leagues, wear sneakers no boots, slippers or sandals, dress shoes jewelry Cheer & Dance Startz Here has new no share policy as Result of COVID-19 pan epidemic in order to minimize the risk of exposure. Memory-In-Training:  This course is designed to provide mature adults the skills needed to strengthen their memory.  Participants will learn facts about their brain as well as foods that promote brain and heart health.  This course is ideal for adults experiencing issues with misplacing items, recognizing a face by not remembering the name, walking into a room and not remembering why, and forgetting to do things in the future. Participation is required as this is an interactive course.  Each week will build upon the previous week and a new memory skill added.  This course is not for people with a diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease or dementia.  Our goal at Memory Fit is to help our older adults live their best life possible by keeping their memory intact and remaining physically active.  Join us each week and sharpen your memory skills.Our training sessions are kept small because we want everyone to have the opportunity to participate and learn. Let It Out Performing Arts (L.I.O.P.A.) children dance program are for children to learn dance techniques/skills and explore the beginning and creative movements through dance.  Tots Ballet & Kiddie Hip Hop (ages 2-3 years old): Toddlers are introduced to ballet by exploring and utilizing loco-motor, fine motor and gross motor skills. Blossom Ballet and Tap (ages 4-7 years old): Are for children to learn the beginning movements of Ballet and tap. This class will help children to put the basic ballet and tap skills into creative movements.   LIOPA Dance Program Information Class Dress Code Tots Ballet - Pink Leotard, Pink Tights, Pink Leather Ballet Slippers  Kiddie Hip-Hop Attire: Wear comfortable Tshirt that's aren't too oversized or tank tops. For bottoms leggings, appropriate lengthed shorts or even not too baggy  sweat pants with comfortable sneakers Blossom Ballet and Tap - Black Leotard, Pink Tights, Pink Leather Ballet Slippers, & Black Tap Shoes  2. Dance Policies and Procedures (P&P) Parents will receive LIOPA P&P booklet to read and sign. The sheet from the P&P will be kept in the student dance file. Complete Enrollment & Waiver Form (See Instructor)  4. Tuition Policy •Tots Ballet & Kiddie Hip-Hop: $35 (ages 2-3) •Blossom Ballet & Tap: $40 (ages 4-7) 5. Late Fee Policy $3 for late tuition (assessed on the second Thursday of each month)  6. Recital Costume Fee (3 Options for paying Costume Fees) 1. Participate in Fundraiser (to cover fee) 2. The students annually have a winter and spring recital performance with costume fees. Classes Held at Bluff Road ParkMonday-Junior Company, 5:15 pm-6:15 pm; Ballet & Tap Combo, 6:15 pm-7 pm (3-6 years old); Lyrical 7 pm-8pm Tuesday-Jazz I, 6:00 pm-7:00 pm; Jazz II, 6:00 pm-7:00 pm; Contemporary/Teen Dance Company 7:00 pm-8:00 pm Wednesday-Jazz I (Virtual) 5 pm-6pm, Steps of Faith Theater & Choir 5:30 pm-6:30 pm, Ages 6 and upThursday-Hip-Hop (Virtual) 6 pm-7 pm & Hip-Hop I 6 pm-7pm; Ages 7-17 years old Company Team is by audition class only.  Students in this class will compete at regional and national dance competitions.  Students will also perform at local community events.   Dancer Attire:  Black T-shirt and Black Leggings for all classes EXCEPT Ballet black leotard and pink ballet tights and pink ballet shoes
